Can I travel with my Caddytrek?

Yes, the Caddytrek can easily be transported in your vehicle and even while traveling using the airlines for golf trips. The lithium battery, however, may not be allowed to be carried onboard while flying commercial airlines.

Can my Caddytrek be used in a group of golfers also using Caddytreks?

Yes, your Caddytrek’s handset and the signal it emits are paired to the specific unit.

Can the CaddyTrek keep up with me in Follow mode?

The Caddytrek typically follows within six paces of the golfer, but it takes some trial and error to recognize terrain, obstacles and how to move with the unit to get the most out of the experience. If a golfer wants to move quickly, the CaddyTrek can move faster in remote control mode by pressing the forward toggle arrow on the handset.

Do I need to have the handle bar up when using my Caddytrek?

The handle bar does not need to be up while using in Follow Mode or Remote Control Mode. You will need it in the up position to manually push or pull your Caddytrek.

How many holes of golf can I play on one full charge of the battery?

The Caddytrek can be used for 27 to 36 holes depending on the golfer and the course being played. We recommend that you charge the battery after your round of golf to always ensure it may be used for maximum play.

What allows the Caddytrek to follow you hands free?

The Caddytrek is designed on a proprietary robotic system using advanced sensing and motion control technology. Sensors on the Caddytrek pick up the signals from the remote handset placed on the golfer.

What happens if it rains and my Caddytrek gets wet?

The battery is enclosed in a limited waterproof housing unit to eliminate exposure to rain or any outdoor elements. The rear wheel motors are also enclosed and encased to prevent exposure to rain and other outdoor elements. The handset can withstand limited exposure to moisture or rain. But it is not recommended to allow continued exposure to heavy rains or moisture as this can eventually damage the electronic components.

What is the weight of the Caddytrek?

The Caddytrek weighs less than 39 lbs with the battery in the unit.

Who can I contact about any issues concerning my Caddytrek?

You may first want to contact the agent or retailer where you purchased your unit. You may always contact our sales and service office located in Las Vegas, NV.

Will my Caddtrek avoid obstacles and avoid collisions?

For starters, it is always important to keep the CaddyTrek under user control. We recommend using the Caddy in RC (Remote Control) mode or in push mode. Follow mode is designed primarily for wide-open spaces, like the green. When encountering rough terrain or unpredictable environments–like a parking lot–try using the cart in RC or push mode.
