The 2015 62nd Annual PGA Merchandise Show, held Jan. 20-23 in Orlando, FL has come and gone already with many golf exhibitors and vendors showcasing their products for the upcoming golf season. This was FTR Systems’ fourth year attending as an exhibitor at the show.
The PGA Merchandise Show is organized in partnership with The PGA of America as a trade-only event which welcomed over 1,000 top golf companies and brands and more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world to the industry’s annual global summit for the business of golf.
Jerry Lee and Richard Nagle of FTR Systems spent four days at the show demonstrating and talking about the CaddyTrek BA model and Bigfoot rental model with many golf professionals, buyers, dealers, and golf enthusiasts that stopped by our booth to see what so many people have been talking about over the last couple years.
The Golf Channel recognized our product as one of the most popular electronic caddy carts sold on the market as well as the first model to ever follow the golfer during their round. Our Caddytrek BA model was featured in a three minute segment on the Morning Drive Show aired and televised from the PGA Merchandise Show on the Golf Channel.
“The excitement and new products seen at the PGA Show will create a buzz in our golf shop this spring,” said Eric Sandstrum, PGA head professional at Brattleboro Country Club in Brattleboro, Vermont. “I come here every year and it sets the tone and gives us new ideas for the season ahead.”
