The CaddyTrek weighs 35 lbs without the battery. The battery itself weighs 6 lbs.
CaddyTrek caddies have a carry capacity of 33 lbs. It is advised that you do not exceed the carry capacity, as it could cause the cart to sway back and forth.
We recommend recharging your remote battery when recharging your main battery.
Yes. Charge your new battery for about 6 to 8 hours or until fully charged. The battery charger light will turn green, indicating that the battery is fully charged.
Locate your serial number on your CaddyTrek (to the right of the power button), then click on the link below and follow the prompts to register.

The serial number on your CaddyTrek can be found on a small white label located on the opposite side of the power button, underneath the cover jacket. It is 12 numbers long and will start with 025. Refer to https://youtu.be/wNAPbWoDBCI
Press and hold the “UP” directional button on the handset until the cart beeps. Press STOP to return to Standby (SB) mode.
To mute the handset, press the DOWN directional button four (4) times, then press STOP. Repeat the steps to disengage.
This normally indicates the cart’s battery charge level is low and the battery should be charged. If the beeping continues, contact customer support.
Ensure you are pressing the power button on the handset firmly for two to three seconds. Ensure the handset battery is fully charged. Ensure the battery isn’t loose inside the handset. Remove and reseat the battery if needed.
Ensure that you have pressed the power button down completely. CaddyTrek is powered on when the unit beeps, the LED light on the power button is green, and the wheels are locked. Ensure the battery is charged.
CaddyTrek will follow the user at the same speed/pace that they are walking. The cart follows the user within about 6 paces.
Yes, CaddyTrek can follow the user up and down hills within a 25-degree grade. You must walk slowly and consciously. However, we recommend using RC mode for hills.
Press the STOP button on the handset multiple times to revert to Standby (SB) mode. This will lock the wheels and stop the unit immediately.
If your CaddyTrek is drifting either to the left or to the right, you should recalibrate your cart. From Standby (SB) mode, press LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, then STOP on the handset. The unit will beep if successful, then you’ll need to reboot the cart.
You can get up to 8 hours or 36 holes on a full charge, depending on the golfer and the course being played. We recommend charging the battery after every round of golf for maximum play.
Charge the battery after every round of golf or when the indicator lights are flashing with two green lights. A full charge takes about 6-8 hours. NEVER leave the battery on the charger for more than 10 hours. When not using, store the battery at a 75% charge level.
The main battery and motors are enclosed and protected in a weather-resistant housing to prevent exposure to rain. However, it is NOT waterproof, so we do not recommend using it in the rain.
If the cart goes into a lake or water hazard, there could potentially be problems with the internal electronics. Under no circumstances should a Lithium Battery that has been immersed in water be used.
The green LED illuminates to indicate the charger is powered on. The red LED indicates the battery is charging. The LED will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
The best storage method is to store them at a low temperature, not below 0°C, at 50-75% capacity. Storage at 15°C (60°F) to 25°C (80°F) is ideal. Since lithium batteries self-discharge, it is recommended that they be recharged and used again until drained to 50-75%, about every 6 months.
We recommend servicing your CaddyTrek annually, usually when golf season is over. This will ensure optimal performance of your caddy. You can purchase our “Full Service Maintenance” package on our website at https://www.caddytrek.com/shop/services/full-service-maintenance-us/
CaddyTrek caddies are designed to be used in all conditions; however, they are NOT waterproof. A level of caution is required when operating your caddy in wet conditions. Under no circumstances should you clean your caddy using a pressure washer or hose.
Damage to any of the electronics (motors, electronic boards, battery) due to water ingress is not a manufacturing defect and will not be covered under warranty.
