Next on the PGA Tour: The Players Champion

Depending on who you ask, many say The Players Champions is the PGA Tour’s fifth major and will argue that there are only four majors a year. Whether or not the PGA Tour has four or five, one things is certain—The Players is a big tournament.

The purse is $10.5 million, with nearly $2 million going to the winner.  The Top 24 players in the world will all be competing at the famous TPC Sawgrass, while 48 of the Top 50, Brandt Snedeker and Thomas Pieters being the only exceptions, will be in action.

After Dustin Johnson was forced to miss the Masters with a back injury, this will be the first time this year we get to see the World No. 1 take on a tournament of this stature. And it’s the first tournament this season that will feature all of the world’s Top 5: Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth.

Stay tuned for final results and highlights in an upcoming blog.

Haggin Oaks Golf Expo Highlights

Thank you to those who stopped by the CaddyTrek booth to say “hello.”

It’s not often that we get to meet our customers face-to-face, but doing this show gives us that opportunity. We met many CaddyTrek owners during the show and they all loved their CaddyTrek and were proud to say so!  We must be doing something right to have so many people saying the same thing.
